The Seychelles' only pelagic product is an annual expedition voyage from Victoria across 1,500 kilometres of open ocean to Aldabra Atoll, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Offshore chumming sessions over the Seychelles Bank target Matsudaira's Storm-Petrel — a North Pacific breeder rarely seen this far west — alongside both Critically Endangered Réunion endemics, Barau's Petrel and Mascarene Petrel. The voyage also calls at Aride Island's vast seabird colonies, the Amirantes, and Cosmoledo Atoll's Greater Frigatebird colony, the Indian Ocean's largest, plus twelve Seychelles endemic land birds across its granitic island stops.
