Isles of Scilly Pelagic

The Isles of Scilly lie at the western tip of England, perfectly positioned to intercept seabirds and rare vagrants crossing the North Atlantic. Scilly Pelagics ventures into the deep waters beyond the archipelago where chumming reliably attracts Cory's, Great, Sooty, and Balearic Shearwaters, Wilson's and European Storm-petrels, Sabine's Gulls, and Grey Phalaropes. The autumn season (September–October) is peak time for rarities, and these trips have produced several British firsts and major rarities over the years.
